Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
1. Introduction
Cuematic (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a video publishing service operated by Zenomatic, LLC, available at cuematic.ai (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Email address and name provided during registration or OAuth sign-in (e.g., Google).
- OAuth Tokens: Access and refresh tokens from third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram) that you explicitly authorize for publishing functionality.
- Uploaded Content: Video files, audio files, and thumbnail images you upload through the Service, stored in our cloud storage infrastructure.
- Usage Data: Job status, scheduling preferences, and platform connection metadata necessary to provide the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Transcribe your uploaded video and use an AI model to draft a publishing plan (title, description, caption, and scheduling suggestions) for your review and approval
- Process video uploads and publish approved content to the platforms you connect
- Communicate with you about your account or the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 databases, R2 object storage) running in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Google API Services (YouTube)
Cuematic uses Google API Services, including the YouTube Data API, to upload and publish video content to your YouTube channel on your behalf. For more information on how Google handles your data, please review the Google Privacy Policy.
Cuematic's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, Cuematic:
- Requests access to YouTube scopes required to publish videos:
youtube.upload(to publish videos) andyoutube.readonly(to identify your connected channel) - Uses your Google account email, profile name, and profile picture solely for authentication and account identification
- Reads YouTube channel metadata (channel ID, title, thumbnail) only to display the connected channel in your settings
- Does not share Google user data with any third party, other than the limited service providers described in “Service Providers” below, solely to operate the Service
- Does not use Google user data for advertising purposes
- Stores OAuth tokens encrypted at rest, only as long as needed to perform scheduled uploads; tokens are deleted when you disconnect your channel or delete your Cuematic account
You may revoke Cuematic's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions.
6. Meta Platform Services (Instagram)
Cuematic uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login to publish video content as Reels to your connected Instagram Professional (Business or Creator) account on your behalf. For more information on how Meta handles your data, please review the Meta Privacy Policy.
Cuematic's use and transfer of information received from the Instagram API will adhere to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
Specifically, Cuematic:
- Requests the Instagram permissions required to publish videos:
instagram_business_basic(to identify your connected Instagram account) andinstagram_business_content_publish(to publish video content as Reels) - Uses your Instagram account ID, username, account type, and profile picture solely to confirm the account is a Professional account and to display it as your connected channel in Settings
- Publishes video content to Instagram only when you explicitly upload a video and approve the resulting publishing plan — never automatically without your action
- Does not share Instagram or other Meta Platform data with any third party, other than the limited service providers described in “Service Providers” below, solely to operate the Service
- Does not use Instagram or other Meta Platform data for advertising purposes
- Stores the long-lived access token encrypted at rest, only as long as needed to publish and keep your connection active; the token and account data are deleted when you disconnect the channel or delete your account
You may revoke Cuematic's access to your Instagram account at any time from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites) or the Meta Accounts Center, or by disconnecting the channel in Cuematic Settings — either action triggers our automated data-deletion callback. See our Data Deletion page for details.
7. Service Providers
To operate the Service, we share limited data with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described below. We do not sell this data to anyone, and none of these providers may use it for advertising.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts all Service infrastructure (database, object storage, and compute), including OAuth tokens and uploaded content.
- Anthropic, PBC— powers the AI agent that drafts publishing plans (titles, descriptions, captions) from your video's transcript. The agent receives your connected channel's display name as context so it can draft platform-appropriate content.
- PostHog, Inc. — provides product analytics and session replay we use to diagnose issues and improve the Service.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Beyond the service providers listed above, we may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With third-party platforms as directed by you (e.g., publishing to YouTube or Instagram)
- To comply with legal obligations or valid requests from public authorities
- To protect our rights, property, or safety
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. OAuth and platform access tokens are deleted when you disconnect a platform or delete your account.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by disconnecting a platform in your settings, by emailing privacy@cuematic.ai, or — for Instagram — by removing Cuematic from your Meta account, which triggers our automated data-deletion callback. You can review the status of a deletion request and the available deletion methods on our Data Deletion page.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Disconnect third-party platform integrations
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the information promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
